Goat Farm Project ( IOT Solutions)
Goat Farm project was to Automate the Farm Management i.e To enhance the concept of “Guaranteed Farming”, build on the pillars of Goat Farming. The plan was to boost the ecosystem by using Technology (Web Portal, Mobile Devices & IoT) as a catalyst. Which will Reduce Cost, Maximize Profit, Scale as per demand.
Challenges
Our client is having the concept of building a cloud based solution that is accessible via the internet and can handle their Farm & Business requirements. It was very important to break down the entire project in modules with API Integration. The modules need to be plugged so that the future enhancement can be made easily. The client needed to address the following business challenges.
- Animal Data Acquisition (Breeds, Pedigree, Unique identification-QR Code, Insurance details)
- Reports for: Periodic Milk Production, Livestock.
- Reminders/Notification: Daily Tasks, Vaccination, Heat, Insurance Alerts
- Taking business online: Online Payment, Cash on Delivery.
- Tracking Byproduct Sale: Product wise, Outlet wise, Tracking Expenditure.
- Integration with IoT and other systems
- Mobile App for Doctors

Mindtricks Software was selected a software partner to develop and implement this highly complex solution because of our past expertise in handling such projects.
We studied the entire requirements and then had a details discussion with the client. Then we separated the overall requirement into different modules. The most challenging part of the project to track the lactation cycles of animals in the farms, Air quality, temperature & humidity. The entire project was developed on a test server and then later integrated on the clients dedicated web server.
